Virgin Mary

Something that I did while at my booth at the Sacramento Arts Festival (2007) which took me 2 FULL days to work on it. >.< Think I killed my eyes off while working on it but hope you enjoy.

watercolors

i like the composition of this piece. it's fresh take on Mary - more colorful, and not just that serene face and blue veil. (always refreshing to see a new take on religions icons) it looks like Gabriel just appeared to her.
